Juice Review: Off the Clock from Overtime E-Juice

It’s no secret that I am not a fan of candy vapes.  The reason is quite simple.  The added sugar melds even the simplest flavors into something that overwhelms my tongue, sometimes instantly.  There are very few candy vapes that I would consider to be an all-day-vape.

One of those exceptions is this one, called Off the Clock from Overtime E-Juice.  This is a sour blue-razz candy vape.

Packaging: So this little bottle starts off with our good buddy Sam against a blueish background, covered in raspberries.  Just below the logo is the flavor name “Off the Clock” and the haunting FDA logo underneath.  Just to the right of that is the flavor profile “Ruby Razz Sour Candy” along with nic strength and bottle size.  The far side features cautions, warnings, ingredients, etc.

Flavor: So as I mentioned earlier, the added sweetener can kill a flavor before it begins.  This replaces that sweetener with a subtle sour note that helps to bring out the other flavors more.  Almost like an added pinch of salt, this isn’t too strong but is just noticeable enough to barely make your cheeks pucker.  This envelops the sweeter blue raspberry flavor that is reminiscent of a slushie from your childhood (or at least that’s what it reminds me of).

Cloud Production: The lack of added sweetener means that this preserves the flavor without destroying your cotton immediately.  All of this combined with a 80/20 blend gives way to solid cloud production, albeit not as thick as some others.

Bottle Size: 60ml

Nicotine Strength: 0mg, 3mg, 6mg

Final Thoughts: As I said, my flavor profile doesn’t come anywhere close to this particular selection.  Even so, I feel that this would have been a safe choice if I tried to venture outside of my profile simply for my own taste buds.  Hopefully you guys will give this a try as well.
