Sublimation is the phase where a solid goes directly into a gas, without passing through as a liquid form. Whether this has anything directly to do with the flavor profile, I’m not sure. There’s also the psychological definition it is defined as a mature type of defense mechanism, in which socially unacceptable impulses or idealizations are unconsciously transformed into socially acceptable actions or behavior, possibly resulting in a long-term conversion of the initial impulse.
Maybe it’s a combination of both…
Sublimation is described as :“A vanilla infused tobacco that will vaporize your demons with each exhale.”
Packaging: This cobalt blue bottle starts with the elegant label and logo of NOCA Elixirs, with Sublimation listed at the bottom. The far right side has warnings, where the far left side features PG/VG ratio, nic level, bottle size, and ingredients.
Flavor: As you guys have probably heard me describe before, most of the tobacco flavors I have tried tend to lean towards brown sugar/molasses. This one, though, shines as more of a southern tobacco flavor. The throat hit and tang gives this character where other tobacco flavors might fall short. The interesting thing about this is the sweet vanilla, which gives more of a candy shell type exhale that’s not expected. This tends to resemble more of a turkish blend, similar to Camel cigarettes. This creates an interesting combination that has to be tried to be understood.
Cloud Production: This has a 78/22 blend ratio (or where most companies would probably round off to 80/20. Cloud production on this is very solid, and the cotton doesn’t take much of a beating either. This has consistent flavor and clouds every time!
Bottle Size: 60ml
Nicotine Strength: 0mg, 1.5mg, 3mg, 6mg, 12mg
Final Thoughts: This decadent tobacco blend has just enough to stand out from other tobacco flavors I have tried. The candy shell type vanilla might be a turn off for some, but I think it warrants a second look especially for those who are trying to transition from cigarettes to vaping.
