Juice Review: Butter Me Up from Secret Menu Liquids

Did you know Milkshake Liquids has a Secret Menu?!  With the official release tomorrow (January 16th), it truly is a secret.  However, I have some information about a few of the flavors, including my thoughts.  This first one is a decadent delight that you would expect at the dessert bar at your local coffee shop.  To them, though, it’s simply called “Butter Me Up”.

The flavor is simply described as such.  “Ooey gooey caramel blended with rich butterscotch, drizzled over freshly cut strawberries will surely please any sweet tooth”

Packaging: One of the most eyecatching part of this lineup is the label, with the front designed to look just like a chalkboard at a local bistro or cafe.  The text reads “Enjoy Our Secret Menu, brought to you by Milkshake Liquids.”  Below that is yellow block lettering that says “Butter Me Up” with what appears to be a small cookie beside of it.  Also on the front is the nicotine strenght. The far back features bottle size, nic strength, PG/VG ratio, warnings, ingredients, batch number, and the Black Market logo.

Flavor: You would probably think this would be an overly sweet profile.  And while the caramel and butterscotch do provide a sugary kick, it’s vibrant nature isn’t sugar high worthy.  That’s because the fresh strawberry kicks in on the exhale to cut through the confectionery red tape.  The caramel and butterscotch is pretty rich on the inhale but not too strong, while the strawberry never tries to overtake the candy coating.  Suffice to say, this is pretty damn close to an actual caramel butterscotch covered strawberry.  Well played, guys.  Well played indeed.

Cloud Production: This 70/30 blend does have some pretty impressive cloud production throughout.  That’s not to say that your cotton won’t take a swift kick in the pants (because it will).  However, this sweetened liquid still provides pretty excellent flavor throughout.

Bottle Size: 60ml, 100ml

Nicotine Strength: 0mg, 3mg, 6mg

Final Thoughts: While this may not be the type of flavor I would associate with a coffeeshop, I do agree that this is a pretty well executed concoction.  This provides just enough flavor to satisfy my dessert cravings as well as my fruit tastes as well.

Be sure you guys check back tomorrow at Milkshakeliquids.com to pick up your bottle!  And stay tuned as I give my thoughts on the rest of the lineup.
