Juice Review: Winter Ice from C&C Apothecary

I want to start this off by apologizing for new posts over the past couple of days.  Allergies and/or a cold really took it’s toll on my body.  If I can’t taste it, how am I going to tell you about it?!  In my search to find something to vape under these conditions, though, I decided to visit an apothecary.  Specifically C&C Apothecary.

“You will be hard pressed to find anything that’s remotely close to C&C’s version of menthol.  Be prepared to be blown away, almost literally.”

I found out about these guys at Vape Showcase in Dallas.  Their flavor profiles were pretty outstanding (and I will be sharing more in the very near future).  What stood out to me in this situation, though, is this one called Winter Ice.  I remember trying it and thinking “This would be PERFECT if I ever have any allergy issues again.”

Ha…if I ever…

Packaging: This sleek bottle starts out with the C&C logo against a black background with green ice accenting the background.  The bottom of the bottle shows nicotine strength, bottle size, and the flavor name.  Far left side shows all relevant warnings, while the far right side shows ingredients.

Flavor: This one took my breath away almost immediately.  Just menthol is putting it lightly.  I actually had to turn down my device from my usual settings.  The flavor on this reminds me greatly of an Altoids (just the regular, no special flavor).  The reason I say this is because of a slight sugary finish at the very end.

Cloud Production: This gives the impression of a 70/30 blend.  If you can handle the burst of menthol, the clouds are pretty comparable.  Don’t let that sugary finish fool you on the cotton, though.  They do not use any sweetener in their juice, so your cotton will not get destroyed like you would think.  This definitely maintained cloud production as well as flavor throughout.

Bottle Size: 60ml Gorilla bottle

Nicotine Strength: 0mg, 3mg, 6mg

Final Thoughts: While this definitely helped to open up my airways, I personally don’t see this as being an all-day-vape.  Maybe that’s because I’m not a huge Altoids fan.  If you decide to use this to help open up your airways to fight allergies, 0mg should work just as well as the 3 or 6.  I would recommend keeping a spare tank or dripper for just such an occasion.  However, if you enjoy Altoids on the regular, I can almost guarantee you will love this!
