Juice Review: Learn from Primal Elixir

Over the course of the past few months, I have seen quite a bit of advertisements for a brand called “Primal Elixir“.  Part of that is due to my involvement with Vapun Magazine and the fact that the owner also owns “Primal Elixir“.  Erica created this brand as both a flavor and packaging artistic venture to the vape market that had not been seen before, and honestly it harbors a great deal of attention.

Here is the flavor description at Giant Vapes:

“Crisp, refreshing, and surprisingly smooth for a citrus vape, Learn is a blend of blood orange, strawberry, and lemonade, with the blood orange shining through as the main attraction.”

Packaging: The bottle and the carton both feature a rather elaborate line drawing that is reminiscent of Bohemian style in nature.  The image of a Ganesha type figure in parallel with a womanly figure embodies that success and suggests that these two figures are one in the same.  Despite the detail of the illustration, it’s somewhat surprising that the figures themselves are not colorful.  That detail is given to the background, which is a wash of red and yellow hues, giving a subtle suggestion to what type of flavor you might be coming across with this.  The bottom of the label shows bottle size and nic strength.  All other details of the juice are listed on the left side of the label, including warnings and ingredients.

Flavor: If you have never tried a blood orange vape, it’s usually a love it or leave it type situation.  It can come across as somewhat bitter and nowhere near the actual fruit.  This starts off with a sweet citrus blend of the blood orange and cascades into a strawberry and lemonade mix.  The strawberry seemed to be on the tail end of the vape, almost unnoticeable.  Strawberry seems to be there as an additional sweetness that could otherwise be completely non-existent.  The combination of all three flavors create an experience that makes you feel like you are tasting an actual blood orange.  The lemonade adds that citrus pulp effect to finish off the vape quite nicely.

Cloud Production:  The cloud production is pretty good in volume but doesn’t leave a lingering cloud that some people might look towards.  Cotton gunking seemed to be at a minimal, which leads to a more consistent flavor and cloud combination.  70/30 blend

Bottle Size: 60ml unicorn bottle

Nicotine Strength: 0mg, 3mg, 6mg

Final Thoughts: While some may find that citrus vapes are hard to do long term, this sweeter punch allows an easier inhale and that leads to better cloud production than other citrus vapes. I didn’t feel like I had to reserve my inhale to protect my taste buds. I am not typically a fan of fruit-ish type vapes but this impressed me quite a bit in the packaging and overall performance.  I can’t wait to see more from these guys!
