Juice Review: Chongo from Detroit Rock Candy

Throwback Thursday, a delightful trip down memory lane.  I remember going to the local store for a Pepsi and a pack of Nerds (probably the only candy I remember enjoying as a child).  So my interest was piqued when DRC came out with a little something called “Chongo”.  The name is unfamiliar to me, but the flavor is far from it…

The website simply describes this as a “Grape Nerds Candy“.

Packaging: The bottle has a vibrant orange and purple dance to put together what appears to be a city silhouette.  Detroit Rock Candy logo is followed up by “Throwback” in a big orange bar.  The left side of the bottle contains all the relevant warnings about nicotine, Prop 65, etc.

Flavor: The tartness of the Nerds was a bit lacking, but the overall grape experience tended to take on a life of it’s own.  Instead, this had hints of grape soda mixed in.  Overall, the mix of grape nerds and grape soda just added to the overall vape experience, and threw my Thursday back even further….

Cloud Production: This has all indication of a 80VG/20PG.  Thick and goopy liquid consistency with the insane cloud production to boot.  Unfortunately this does gunk up the cotton pretty well but it’s to be expected with most candy flavors.  Regardless, this gave my RDA a definite run for my money!

Bottle Size: 60ml

Nicotine Strength: 0mg, 3mg, 6mg
