Juice Review:Boo from Transistor

“I got off the plane in Detroit, and waited for my ride to pick me up.  What was about to transpire at ECC was nothing short of epic…but damn I needed a vape.  4 hours in the air does something when it comes to still having a nicotine addiction…”

In the first few hours in Detroit, I tried a wide variety of juices from several sources.  One of the items handed to me in a Cleito tank was something called “Boo” from Transistor E-juice.

The website lists is as such: “A spookily familiar blueberry cereal”  In other words, Boo Berry cereal.  To someone who grew up in the 80’s, Boo Berry is one of those flavors that haunts your inner child and puts you on a quest until the cereal gets re-released at Halloween every year.

But now…you can vape it!

Packaging: The front of the bottle has a distinctive black background with a metallic blue alien, with Transistor at the top and Boo listed below the graphic.  The left side of the label lists the bottle size and website, while the right lists Prop 65, other warnings, and the nicotine strength.

Flavor: This is something that I have harped about religiously in regards to vaping.  RDA and tank do not necessarily make for the same flavor experience, and this is a perfect example.  In a tank, the flavor separates into two tastes.  One is the “biscuits” of the cereal, and two is the blueberry marshmallow.  However, in a RDA, this melds together into a VERY juicy blueberry taste.  Not a bad thing by any means, but you may need to adjust your atomizer of choice if you don’t get the flavor experience you were looking for.

Cloud Production: Solid clouds!  This has a roughly 70VG/30PG consistency, so it’s perfect for both RDA and tanks.  The cotton/coil gunk factor is pretty strong with this, especially considering the flavor base.  All in all, though, a pretty solid vape experience!

Bottle Size: 60ml

Nicotine Strength: I am only seeing 3mg listed on their site, but maybe they have more nicotine options…??
