Charlie’s Chalk Dust…alas, we meet again…
It has been ages since I tried their juice, and I was incredibly saddened at the fact that Orange Bl’Awesome is becoming more and more difficult to find. A friend gave me this to try, and this is how the website describes the flavor.
“Tropical blueberry popsicle that will knock your pants off”
Packaging: The bottles from Charlie’s Chalk Dust have a captivating opaque nature to them. Whether it’s a full bottle or an empty one, the bottles would look great sitting on a shelf. The label itself has a bold white lettering against a black background, and the bottle itself has a smooth black finish. The left side has the flavor logo (and if you have seen the website, you know what I mean by “logo”. The right side lists all warnings, ingredients, and PG/VG ratio. The front of the bottle lists the size and nicotine strength.
Flavor: Why on earth would you combine blueberry and tropical flavors? And worse yet, why would you want to combine them into a popsicle flavor? The answer is really quite simple. The tropical inhale provides a similar effect to what salt does to your food, and that is to open the taste buds up to the blueberry exhale. To say that this is unlike any other blueberry I have tried is an understatement. This gave me enough of a sweet and tart combination to where this 30ml bottle didn’t last long…
Cloud Production: …and the cloud production helped. I got a very solid stream of clouds on this, which held form pretty well. At 70VG/30PG, that made it even more impressive to give such a solid cloud performance. Coil gunking, however, was prevalent throughout the experience. I think I did have to change the cotton at least once in between.
All in all, though, I have to say that I am sold on Charlie’s Chalk Dust. Once could have been a fluke, but twice is consistency which I like.
