“A smooth, warm, buttery vanilla custard. What goes better with custard than some crushed up graham crackers? Heres the curve ball.. we finish it off with a couple butterscotch chips and a slight drizzle of maple syrup. Are you ready for your new favorite juice?”
What’s up guys? I wrote previously on the Carnival flavor from Five Fold Vapor several months ago, but wanted to take the time to check this juice out after the August 8th release. I have been working through the words on exactly how to describe this, as the flavor profile is so specific. I felt that before I received this bottle that I knew what I was getting myself into. In reality, though, I got something totally different….
Presentation: No matter what size bottle you get, this comes in a squeeze unicorn bottle. The right side of the label has a very specific warning list that breaks everything down to very specific points.
- “Toxic if swallowed. Very toxic in contact with skin. Keep locked up. Keep out of reach of children. In case of an accident, or if you feel unwell seek medical. Not suitable for those under the age of 18. This product is made of tobacco”
Granted, a lot of us would have an issue with that last statement, but the FDA regulations are pushing to include that in the warnings. More on that later….
The left side is very brief in a list of ingredients with the Five Fold Vapor website. The central graphic and fonts are a mix of red and white/silver against a black background, with metallic highlights on the colors. Very sleek design, and eye catching to anyone who might be curious as to what you are vaping.
Flavor: Let me start out by saying that almost every custard I have tried falls into two specific categories. You have the smooth, pudding-like custard. Then you have an eggy type custard flavor, which tends to have more of a 3D depth of flavor. Spicy yet sweet, this eggy type flavor is a choice of any company that really wants to showcase and respect the flavor.
Five Fold Vapor takes this eggy custard and covers up that egg-like aftertaste with some very interesting flavors. The graham cracker adds to the custard to give an extra texture and slight bit of gritty flavor boost to make a full inhale. Butterscotch is used as a subtle sweetness with a light touch of maple syrup. They could have used caramel or hazelnut to achieve this, but caramel would be too sweet and hazelnut would completely cover the custard flavor. Instead, the butterscotch/maple syrup make for a very smooth and relaxing exhale.
As much as I said that I wasn’t expecting this, this flavor has seriously grown on me over the past couple of weeks. The only regret I have is the fact that I didn’t buy a 120ml bottle.
Cloud Production: This has a fairly thick consistency, possibly a 80VG/20PG level (although I could be wrong). Cloud production on this has been no problem, but they do tend to dissipate fairly easily after the exhale. Regardless, though, the volume is pretty impressive. Coil gunking has been kept to a fair minimum in my Limitless, with no issues as far as the cotton. If this is run in your RDA, don’t be surprised if you do have to change your cotton a little more frequent simply because of the flavors used.
Bottle Size: 60ml, 120ml
Nicotine Strength: 0mg, 3mg, 6mg
Until next time, guys…vape on!
