Juice Review: Never Say Pie from Banzai Vapors

“Yarrrrr! This be some of the purest liquid gold we’ve ever stumbled upon! One Eyed Willy himself would give his other eye to be so lucky to vape this fine baked dessert flavor! We set sails on the high seas to bring you a one of a kind experience of apples, crust, sugar, spices and everything in between! While this flavor is very apple pie-ish we strongly urge you to beware and NEVER SAY PIE!”

Um…I could try to write this entire post in a pirate’s voice but I don’t think my voice could handle it….

Never Say Pie from Banzai Vapors continues the homage to high profile Hollywood films in the name and label design.  This one may not be quite so obvious to those who are not familiar with 80’s films.  The Goonies had quite a few references to pirates, and that “never say die” attitude.  See the tie-in?

Presentation: The front of the bottle has a gray pirate flag with “Never Say Pie” in a very similar font to the Goonies font on all posters, videos, etc.  Left side contains all relevant information in regards to warnings, including your standard warnings and Prop 65.  Ingredients are also listed on the left side.  Right side contains everything else, including:

  • PG/VG ratio
  • Nic strength
  • Banzai Vapors website and phone number
  • “Shake Well Before Use”
  • Social media icons for Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube
  • Icons for dispose in trash or recycle, and not for under 18
  • and finally a QR code to the Banzai Vapors website

That’s a lot of information for one small section, but they pull it off.

Flavor: Let’s start with the spices.  The cinnamon and sugar tied in pretty well with the baked crust flavoring that was used.  Not too heavy, and you could definitely tell that it’s there.  There were times when the pie crust started to show more often (and will probably show for you guys more if you chain vape or really work in your Claptons as you vape this.

The apple flavoring was quite impressive.  Not too tart, and not too heavy.  It melds very well with the aforementioned crust flavor combination.  The end result came out as more of a Mrs. Smith Apple Pie than a pure homemade apple pie.  Maybe even closer to an apple crisp because of the mesh of crust and apple flavorings.  Regardless, I would definitely consider this as a solid all day vape without being too harsh on any of the flavors.

Cloud Production: 70VG/30PG.  I didn’t feel like I had to change the cotton very often, although that golden hue still popped up, mainly because of the deeper rustic flavors used.  Cloud production on this was pretty solid.

Bottle Size: 30ml, 60ml, 120ml

Nicotine Strength: 0mg, 1.5mg, 3mg, 6mg, 12mg
