Juice Review: The 1% from Cultured E-Liquid

So here is a prime example of how marketing can mess up the preconceived notion of a flavor, and why it’s important to double check the website/flavor card for what you’re getting.

When you see the front of the bottle of 1% from Cultured E-Liquid, you see a picture of a cow.  I knew this had a strawberry flavor mixed in, but my mind said it’s a strawberry milk/milkshake.  I kept trying the flavor and couldn’t quite pinpoint what the flavor was supposed to be.  As it turns out, this is a strawberry yogurt flavor.

Presentation: Black opaque bottle with a simple label design.   There is a born-on date, batch number, standard warnings.  Made in an ISO-6 lab, the nicotine level is clearly printed on the label.

Flavor: A fresh strawberry that balances very well between tart and sweet.  What made everything so confusing was where the tartness from the strawberries ended and the yogurt began.  The yogurt had an unmistakable tang, though, once it was identified.

I was very pleased that this wasn’t overly sweet.  Too often I have seen strawberry and creme/milk/milkshake/etc flavors that go overboard with sweetener.  It ends up killing cotton and producing a totally different flavor halfway through the bottle.  With that lack of sweetness, I felt like this had one of the more promising yogurt vapes I have tried so far.  To me, this tasted a lot like fresh fruit at the bottom of the cup of yogurt.

Cloud Production: 70VG/30PG blend.  Cloud production on this one turned out to be much better than expected.  I ran this in my TFV8 with some pretty solid results.  Not too crazy on the coil gunking, and it maintained clouds and flavor production with ease.

Nicotine Strength: 0mg, 3mg, 6mg, 12mg
