Juice Review: Tigre from Rumblepup

Buckle up, kids.  Here is Tigre from Rumblepup.  This is unlike anything you have ever tasted before.

I wanted to start with the full description from the website on this flavor.

“I promised myself I would not be another e-liquid creator with yet another version of a fruit and custard.

However, I have a really good reason for why this flavor came to be. I didn’t know I was making a fruit and custard. I was just trying to recreate this awesome summer punch, dessert drink my mother would make for me and the neighborhood kids so we would keep out of her hair. It’s based on a recipe that my grandmother taught her.

Mom had no idea that Strawberries, Watermelon and Coconut was called Tiger’s Blood. She just though that it tasted great together, especially when she used sweet coconut.

Latinos from all over have their own version of custard, so do Cubans. We call it Natilla. What do other latin cultures call it? They call it Natilla too, but we think we invent everything. We make Natilla as both a stand alone dessert or as an addition to other desserts like pastries. It’s not as rich as American style custard as it’s a bit lighter and creamier.

Mom put them both together, gave it to us kids, and stood back as the sugar rush hit us and we flew out the door to attack the neighborhood. This stuff is not sweet at all, but potent.

She called it “Leche de Tigre” which means Tiger’s Milk”

Flavor: The first thing I think of, when I open the bottle, is sunscreen lotion.  It’s an odd smell to begin with, but it kind of prepares you a bit for what’s about to come.

The flavor taste itself achieves a few things.  First off, the strawberry and watermelon are not prominent at all in this flavor.  You can’t hardly tell they are there, instead serving as a flavor “spice” to enhance the overall experience.

Second, the coconut is just enough for this bottle.  It’s not TOO strong but it does contribute greatly to the overall taste (and explains the smell too…)

Lastly, the custard is not too eggy or too creamy.  Overall, this comes across as a solid sweet and spicy custard flavor.  As odd as it sounds, it tastes like a homemade (and well made) custard.

Cloud Production: 70VG/30PG.  This stains the cotton pretty heavily but doesn’t turn the cotton too quickly.  It actually maintained flavor and cloud production very well.  The cloud production is super smooth as well.  To me, this is a very well executed bottle.

Nicotine Strength: 0mg, 3mg, 6mg

Bottle Size: 30ml

Guys, Rumblepup is a very new company and one worth keeping an eye on.  Make sure you subscribe to my blog, as I have more flavor reviews on the way.

Until next time, guys…vape on!!

  1. When I first saw ‘Tigre’ I thought of ‘la Tigre’ one of Zoolangers looks. I don’t think I’d like this one based on your description. Pass.
