Juice Review: Resistor from High Voltage

To me, High Voltage is one of those companies that I heard about from several sources but never got a chance to try.  I wasn’t sure how I felt about gimmicky vapes, especially ones like this that are supposed to give you energy.

Let me clarify a couple quick things for this brand.  The energy comes from being infused with caffeine and Vitamin D.  No insane energy boost like a “5 hour energy”, but more like a little extra something to help you get through really bad lull days.  You also don’t need to order it with the extra boost, you can actually get it without the caffeine.

I ordered the Resistor, which is a “caramel espresso energy infused” flavor.

Coffee?  Energy?  I’m there

Flavor: I started trying this in a RDA, and that was a big mistake.  I got a ton of the classic “burned hair, hot mess” coffee flavor that so many people talk about with vapes.  I put the bottle away for a couple of weeks and just went back to it a few days ago, but this time in a Crown Tank.

To me, this had a very solid espresso flavor in a tank, complete with the frothy feel of my tank.  The caramel gave just enough of a sweet edge to mask any possible “burned hair” taste.  Solid flavor design, and the caffeine boost was just subtle enough to keep me from wanting to run around the house like a madman.

Cloud Production: A lot of this is going to depend on what device you use.  I have seen a few sources say that this is a 70VG/30PG blend.  Solid cloud production, even on a tank.  Not the biggest, but definitely not disappointed with my device performance.

Nicotine Strength: 0mg, 3mg, 6mg, 12mg, 18mg

Bottle Size: 15ml, 30ml, 60ml, 120ml

All in all, a pretty solid vape.  You don’t have to get the extra stuff, but don’t expect a 5 hour energy to be infused into your vape either…

Until next time guys, vape on!!
