“When last we left our intrepid hero…”

Guys, I feel horrible that I haven’t been on for the past few days.  Three very important things were going on that kind of impeded my ability to provide honest, meaningful (eh?), and thought provoking (yeah, right) reviews.  Let’s get some resolution to everything that has happened over the past few days….

  •  I didn’t want to make mention of the company that gave me the possible allergy issues because I wanted to see how their customer service would respond to my complaint.  I felt that I had very valid reason to warrant suspecting a possible vaping allergy to one of the ingredients.  I had a sample from VapeMania that caused me to sneeze quite a bit (sometimes a little painfully too…) and yet I ordered a full size bottle because I liked the flavor.  So I wrote Adirondack Vapor an e-mail over the weekend explaining my situation.  Here it goes:
Hey guys,

I am curious about something.  I purchased a bottle of Saratoga from you guys a little over a week ago, and I am curious about the flavorings used on this particular juice. 
I actually got a sample pack from VapeMania of all of your flavors to try.  However, Saratoga made me sneeze a little bit after the first couple of vapes.  I didn’t really think much of it, but when I received my package from you guys (and by the way, I really appreciate the upgrade from the Instagram sale!!), I started vaping the Saratoga and started noticing more allergic type symptoms.  Runny nose, scratchy throat, light headed.  I stopped vaping it and switched to another sample I got from you guys (Seneca, in this case). 
Since switching, my runny nose stopped within an hour.  I’m still slightly congested, and still with a slightly scratchy throat.  Just so we’re clear, I’m not complaining about the product, because you guys provide an amazing vaping experience that I greatly appreciate!  I just want to make sure that if there is a particular flavoring being used that I enquire about it before making a purchase that could contain that item.

I tried to not sound like a complete jerk because I really like their products and just wanted to know if I should steer clear of a certain ingredient.  However, instead of offering a refund or switching to a different flavor, they are instead shipping me another bottle of the same flavor in case it was a possible “bad batch”.
Honestly, I don’t know how I feel about this.  My gut is telling me that there is something my body doesn’t agree with.  I will give them the benefit of the doubt and try the bottle again (but it will be a couple of months before I will try it, until my body heals and I have had a chance to go through the samples still waiting in my juicebox).
  • Yes, I am feeling much better.  Elixir Vapes really tried to bust their tails and went above and beyond for a fellow vaper, so I do appreciate it very much!  I will post the review in a separate article because it’s kind of interesting how the whole thing transpired.
  • I did get quite a bit of Vape Mail during my downtime, including a package from Suicide Bunny, and Drip Industry.  I am super excited to start writing these up later this week.  I’m going to take my time a little bit more with these reviews as my body still hasn’t completely recovered from the upper respiratory infection I no doubt developed.  But this little bottle of Breathe truly helped…
