Juice Review: Pileus from Phat Clouds

My flavor profile is all over the freaking place.  If you looked at my Zamplebox tags article, you know I have an eclectic taste profile.  Now granted, I will try just about any flavor to give an honest profile for this blog.

But seriously Zamplebox….“Lemon custard”???

Actually, the Phat Clouds website lists the flavor profile as “Juicy lemons in a creamy vanilla custard”.  Alright, now I’ve seen everything….

Flavor: (WARNING: This juice is only for extreme custard fans!!….like me….)  I’m going to break the flavor down into two separate areas.  First let’s talk about the lemons, because I’m sure you already have an idea in your head.  This is not a tart lemon.  This is actually a pretty sweet lemon flavor, without a strong bite (there is a bite…and I’ll get to that in a minute).  You do get a citrus type flavor but it’s not so strong that it kicks you in the teeth from taking a hit.  I would almost describe it like a candy lemon taste.

Now, the custard.  I have talked before about custard being used as a base.  That is not the case here.  You can tell the egg in the custard flavor just as much as the lemon.  Again, if you are not a custard fan, you will not like this flavor.  However, for all of you die-hard custard fans, they pull off the flavor combination pretty well!!

Cloud Production: Thick.  Seriously thick.  I can’t tell you how impressed I am with the clouds in this product line (granted, I have only tried two flavors so far, but…)  These guys use the 80VG/20PG levels to the fullest flavor and cloud production levels, and it shows.

Throat Hit: After vaping this all day today, I can tell you that there is a throat hit if you use this as an all day vape.  It doesn’t hit at first, but the sweet lemon starts to give way to the citrus flavor and you will feel a good throat hit build up over time.

Bottle Size: 17.5ml, 35ml, 120ml

Nicotine Strength: 0mg, 3mg, 6mg, 9mg, 12mg, 18mg

Until next time, guys.  Keep on vaping!!
