Zamplebox profile: How it works

Alright guys, I have taken a couple of days to really take a look at this new profile system.  I wanted to share with you my thoughts since I know a lot of you are kind of “on the fence” with giving Zamplebox a try.

First, let’s take a look at the main home screen.

Zamplebox 1

Quite a bit more information than what we have seen in the past.  Let me break it down a little bit for you, since there’s a lot going on….

This is a quick and simple process to change your subscription level.  The 3 bottles gives you three 30ml bottles, while the other two gives you 10-15ml bottles that fit your flavor profile (I’ll get to that in a second).  There is no price listed here because just in case taxes get passed into effect, the payment could change.  It almost sounded like you are locked into your price when you sign up, though.

Here you can switch between your nicotine levels.  They have a full range from 0 to 18, which should accomodate almost every nicotine user out there!  Usually with 3mg, you will get higher VG.   One neat thing I noticed is the option to get high VG juices, for those of you that may have a PG intolerance/sensitivity.  I had no idea so many people were like that…

The next section is the like/dislike section.  There are a LOT of varieties to choose from.  What they recommend is that you choose at least 15 tags for your like section, and 15 tags for your dislike.  The extreme option (and you do not have to do this) is to go through every tag and put it in either of the two lists.  Just press any key and you will get a drop down section like this:

Two tips on this.  First, try to hit a button and select from the drop down menu, just in case the system doesn’t pick up on a word being typed out completely.  Second, you can always change your mind later!  You will get a notice if you try to change something and it’s too close to box shipping time, so keep that timing in mind.

This feature was kind of neat to me.  It’s called “Favorites”

zamplebox 5

Each month you can rate your current and previous boxes on what you did or did not like.  The star is if you like a juice and would like to see it in future boxes,  you can select it as one of your “Favorites”.  It’s not guaranteed, but they will try to make sure you get this flavor in every box you receive for an extra fee.  Rating not only helps your preferences, but also helps the computer to “learn” what might or might not work for some people.

So there you have it.  I just posted my menu yesterday, but comparing this month to last month, I got a much tighter juice selection for the month.  Instead of getting six random flavors, I upgraded and got a very specific box, which I am very happy with.

What do you guys think?  I think this makes it much easier to tailor your Zamplebox experience to what you prefer.  These guys provide a very good product and I think you’ll agree if you take the time to really analyze and pick out as many flavor profile tags as you can.

Until next time….
